Chandigarh, Sept. 30 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to meet union Home Minister Amit Shah at Kapurthala House in Delhi.
The meeting is expected to focus on the extensive damage caused by floods in Punjab.
Mann, accompanied by Punjab Chief Secretary KAP Sinha and other officials, will also request relaxations in the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF) norms to provide enhanced compensation to affected farmers.
A press conference is scheduled following the discussion.
Mann has been seeking a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the flood crisis, but has not yet secured an appointment from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
