Chandigarh, Feb. 11 -- Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, on Wednesday officially inducted 13 newly recruited Agriculture Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) into the state department.

During a ceremony held at his office, the Minister personally handed over the appointment letters, marking another step in the state government's efforts to bolster its agricultural extension services and support the farming community at the grassroots level.

While addressing the recruits, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian emphasised the critical nature of their roles, describing them as the essential bridge between the government's progressive initiatives and the farmers working in the fields.
