Hoshiarpur, March 2 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday handed over cheques of financial assistance worth Rs one crore (each) to the family members of five cops who were martyred during the line of duty. On the sidelines of passing-out parade at Police Recruits Training Centre Jahan Khelan, he handed over cheques worth Rs one crore (each) to the distressed family of martyr ASI (LR) Balwinder Singh, ASI (LR) Naseeb Chand, ASI (LR) Anil Kumar, Head Constable Manjinder Singh and Constable Inderjit Singh who had attained martyrdom while discharging their duties.
