Ranchi, Feb. 6 -- Noted businessman Anurag Sarawgi (45), Managing Director of JD High Street Mall, allegedly died by suicide late Thursday night after jumping from the sixth floor of Blair Apartment in Ranchi.
According to sources, Sarawgi was alone in his flat at the time of the incident, as his wife and two children had travelled to Tamil Nadu to visit relatives. The apartment's security guard reported hearing a loud thud from above during the night and, upon reaching the spot, found Sarawgi lying on the ground. He was declared dead at the scene. His mobile phone was found damaged and has been seized by the forensic team for examination.
