Los Angeles, Jan. 30 -- The producers of S.S. Rajamouli's upcoming action-adventure epic 'Varanasi' have detailed the strategy behind the film's April 7, 2027 theatrical release and its marketing rollout, which began with a cryptic on-ground installation in the holy city of Varanasi, Variety reports.
The project is being produced under the banner of Sri Durga Arts and Showing Business, with K.L. Narayana and S.S. Karthikeya served as producers.
"Varanasi lies at the heart of this film, so beginning the release conversation from the city itself felt instinctive," producer Karthikeya told Variety.
