Chandigarh, July 11 -- In a disturbing turn of events, the investigation into the cold-blooded murder of 25-year-old tennis player Radhika Yadav in Gurugram has taken a sharp turn. Her father, Deepak Yadav, who has confessed to the crime, has been remanded to one day's police custody by a local court.
Police sources said Deepak was unable to cope with the fact that his daughter, who ran a tennis academy, had become the family's primary earner. Despite having income from a couple of rental properties, he reportedly felt emasculated and "taunted" by neighbors who claimed the house was "running on his daughter's money."
