Karwar, Dec. 28 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday embarked on a sortie aboard the Indian Navy's indigenous Kalvari-class submarine INS Vaghsheer from the Karwar Naval Base in Karnataka, marking a significant milestone in India's naval history.
According to an official post on the President's X handle, the President undertook the sortie on the Western Seaboard, accompanied by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi.
