Ranchi, Dec. 28 -- President Droupadi Murmu will be on a three-day visit to Jharkhand from December 28, during which she will take part in a series of official, cultural and academic engagements across Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Gumla.

According to the approved programme, the President will arrive at Birsa Munda Airport here on the evening of December 28 and stay at Lok Bhavan.

On December 29, she will proceed to Jamshedpur, where she is scheduled to visit Dishom Jaher at Karandih and pay floral tributes to Guru Gomkey Pandit Raghunath Murmu, a key figure in the Santhali cultural renaissance.

Later in the day, the President will attend the closing and award ceremony of the 22nd Parsi Maha and centenary celebrations of Ol Chiki, during which ...
