Bhubaneswar, Feb. 2 -- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar on Monday evening by a special Indian Air Force aircraft, beginning a six-day official visit to Odisha.

She was received at Biju Patnaik International Airport by Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and other senior officials. Under tight security, the President proceeded to Lok Bhawan, where she will stay overnight.

During her visit, President Murmu will travel across the state, attending religious, cultural, and developmental programmes.

On Tuesday, she will visit Jajpur to offer prayers at the Biraja Temple and perform rituals at Navi Gaya, followed by a trip to Balasore to attend the 12th Convocation Ceremony of Fakir Mohan Uni...
