Hamirpur, Jan. 30 -- The four-day national-level Holi festival of the historic town of Sujanpur will be held this year from March 1 to 4. The festival's organizing committee has started preparations for it.
The festival will be held in the historic Chaugan (huge ground) that was the parade ground of great Katoch rulers of Kangra hills.
Deputy Commissioner and chairperson of the National Level Holi Festival Committee, Gandharva Rathore, reviewed the preparations for the festival in a meeting with district and sub-divisional level officers at the Mini Secretariat here on Thursday.
Sujanpur MLA Captain Ranjit Singh was also present at this meeting. He said the festival will be given a wider scope and several new activities will be included....
