Guwahati, Oct. 17 -- The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has found no evidence of foul play in the death of Assam's iconic musician Zubeen Garg.

The SPF has stated in a statement that preliminary findings from the Singapore Police investigation found no evidence of foul play.

The SPF stated in a statement that it is aware of speculation and false information circulating online regarding the circumstances of Zubeen Garg's death.

It added that the case is currently being investigated by the SPF, in accordance with Singapore's Coroners Act 2010. Based on preliminary investigations, the SPF does not suspect foul play.
