Jalgaon, Nov. 10 -- A tragic road accident near Wakod in the Jamner division of Jalgaon district on Monday afternoon claimed the life of a young pregnant woman and left her husband critically injured.
The incident occurred at around 3 p.m., when the vehicle in which the couple was travelling, at considerable speed, struck a roadside divider and burst into flames.
Police identified the deceased as Janhvi Sangram More, aged 21, while her husband, Sangram Jalamsingh More, aged 23, a resident of Kulamkheda in Buldhana district, sustained severe burn injuries.
The couple were returning by car after visiting the in-laws in Bohardi area in Bhusawal taluka.
