New Delhi, April 22 -- Ahead of the monsoon season, the Delhi government on Wednesday began laying new water and sewer lines in several parts across the national capital, according to an official document from the Public Works Department (PWD).
Addressing the water supply and sanitation gaps in the densely populated areas, including Mahavir Enclave, Ramphal Chowk, Madhu Vihar, and Sadh Nagar, new drainage pipes and underground water conduits will be installed in the city. The project is funded by the Delhi Jal Board project worth Rs 8 crore, the officials noted.
