Bhandara, March 17 -- The suspension of Bhandara-Gondia MP Dr. Prashant Padole has been revoked.
The Congress MP had been suspended on charges of disrupting the proceedings of Parliament.
The Lok Sabha Secretariat has now withdrawn the suspension. With this decision, he will now once again be able to raise issues related to his constituency in Parliament.
The action taken under Rule 374 by the Lok Sabha Secretariat has been withdrawn with immediate effect. Since his suspension on February 3, 2026, Dr. Padole had been continuously protesting by sitting on the steps of the Lok Sabha.
Even after being suspended from the House, he did not stop his protest. Sitting on the main steps of the Lok Sabha, he presented his grievances daily.
