Araria, Oct. 28 -- Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, popular as PK today, appealed to the Muslim community of Bihar's Seemanchal region to join hands with Hindus who oppose the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, B R Ambedkar, Ram Manohar Lohia, and Jayaprakash Narayan (JP).
Addressing an election rally in Jokihat in support of Jan Suraaj candidate Sarfaraz Alam, Kishor said it was time for Muslims to stop being the "oil that keeps RJD's lantern burning" and instead choose a new political path rooted in social reform and inclusive politics.
He asserted that Jan Suraaj represents an alternative that stands for education, progress, and harmony rather than the politics of fear.
