Lucknow, Aug. 2 -- Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, has expressed serious concern over the removal of 65 lakh names from Bihar's draft voter list by the Election Commission. Alleging political motives behind the move, Tiwari, in a statement here on Saturday evening, claimed that the mass deletion was carried out at the behest of the BJP and primarily targeted traditional opposition voters, particularly from backward castes, Dalits, and weaker sections of upper castes.
