Agartala, Nov. 1 -- Tripura's TIPRA Motha founder and royal heir, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, a ruling BJP ally in the state, hinted at the formation of a united political platform for northeastern regional parties, announcing that a major revelation on the initiative is expected within the next three days.

Debbarman emphasised that national security must take precedence over political rivalries, expressing concern over potential threats from political changes in Bangladesh. He warned that an anti-India government could come to power following the upcoming Bangladeshi elections, posing risks to northeastern states like Assam, Meghalaya, and Tripura.
