Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- Airports managed under the public-private partnership (PPP) model generate 87 per cent of the country's total non-aero revenue while handling 64 per cent of total traffic, according to the latest report.

Beyond the Runway - Scope of Non-Aero Revenue and Aero Cities in India, by Knight Frank India, a leading real estate consultancy in the country, was released in association with the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO).

The report highlighted the growing importance of non-aero revenues in shaping the future of India's airports and urban growth.
