Nashik, Feb. 4 -- The 'Poshandoot' (Nutrition Ambassador) scheme, launched in the district on August 15, 2025, by the Zilla Parishad Health Department under the concept of Chief Executive Officer Omkar Pawar, is showing positive results in the fight against malnutrition.
Due to the effective implementation of this scheme, 39 severely malnourished children have moved into the normal category.
The incidence of malnourished children is higher in the tribal-dominated areas of Peth, Surgana, Trimbakeshwar, and other parts of the district.
