Chennai, May 17 -- The Pondicherry University organised a grand Tiranga
Yatra on Saturday to honour and celebrate the monumental victory of Operation
Sindoor, a successful strategic mission led by the Indian Armed Forces.
The yatra was marked by patriotic fervour and witnessed enthusiastic participation
from students, faculty, and dignitaries.
The rally was flagged off by K. Kailashnathan, Lieutenant Governor and Chief Rector
of Pondicherry University, A. Namassivayam, Puducherry Minister for Home and
Education, Government Prof. P. Prakash Babu, Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry
University in front of the iconic Dr. B.R. Ambedkar administrative building.
