Puducherry, April 16 -- The pass percentage in the CBSE 10th standard public examination in the union Territory of Puducherry rose by 18.54 percent this year when compared to last year.
It may be noted that all government schools in Puducherry were converted to CBSE syllabus from last year.
For the second year the students in the union Territory sat for the 10th standard public examination in February -March this year.
A total of 5,594 students wrote the examination this year of which 5,582 passed. The pass percentage in 2024-25 was 81.25 percent and this year it rose by 18.54 percent.
In Puducherry region as many as 3,865 students appeared for the examination of which 3,858 passed registering 99.82 percent. In Karaikal region 1,145 stu...
