Kaithal, Feb. 2 -- Mahmudpur village police post staff have arrested an accused from Saroula area with 800 grams of poppy Doda and 2.75 bottles of country liquor.
The accused Baljinder Singh of Khushal Majra was arrested by a team led by SI Rajbir Singh on a tip off, from Khushal Majra-Saroula road when his motorcycle was intercepted by the police team. His search revealed that he was carrying poppy Doda and country made liquor.
In the second case, 3.96 grams of chitta was recovered from a car in village Pai. However, the two accused fled from the spot leaving behind their car.
