Srinagar, Aug. 29 -- Police in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir today solved two separate sheep theft cases by arresting two accused and recovering 51 stolen sheep.
Police said during the investigation of FIR No. 180/2025, teams swiftly identified the suspects and recovered 44 stolen sheep. Two accused, identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar and Mohammad Yousuf Dar, both residents of Jawalapora in Budgam, were arrested.
In another case registered under FIR No. 183/2025, police recovered seven stolen sheep.
