Srinagar, April 6 -- As part of the ongoing efforts to curb drug abuse and illegal trafficking under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and the "war on drugs" campaign, J&K police on Monday conducted extensive inspection drives across chemist and medical shops in Ganderbal, Kulgam and Sopore districts.

In Ganderbal district of central Kashmir, multiple inspection teams were constituted on the directions of senior officers to ensure strict enforcement of norms governing the sale of pharmaceutical drugs.
