Srinagar, Feb. 20 -- Police have attached a double storey residential house and seized cash of Rs 14.52 lakh of a notorious drug peddler under Narco Act in Jammu Kashmir's Shopian district.
Police on Thursday said that in a major breakthrough against the drug menace, Police in Shopian attached a double-storey residential house worth Rs 22,17,827 and seized an amount of Rs. 14,52,100 belonging to a notorious drug peddler identified as Mudasir Ahmad Malik, Yawer Ahmad Malik & Shahid-ul-Islam Malik residents of Melhura Zainapora.
The action was taken under section 68-E read with 68-F(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, as part of the ongoing anti-narcotics drive in the district.
