Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- Police in Srinagar on Friday attached a double-storey residential house along with 4 marlas of land, valued at approximately Rs 75 lakhs, belonging to a notorious drug peddler, under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Police said the property at Usmania Colony, Badamwari, Lal Bazar, stands in the name of Arshid Ahmed Sheikh.
"The accused is a habitual drug peddler and is involved in FIR No. 50/2025 under sections 8 and 20 NDPS Act at Police Station Lal Bazar and FIR No. 31/2025 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act at Police Station Janipur, Jammu," police said.
