New Delhi, April 8 -- Following a 2,000 km interstate chase spanning from Delhi to Chennai, Delhi Police arrested a 34-year-old robber, an officer said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the accused, Dinesh, a resident of Paharganj, Delhi, was arrested at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station after a meticulously coordinated operation.
The case came to light on March 27th, when police received a PCR call regarding a robbery at Multani Dhanda, Paharganj.
The complainant, injured on the face with a sharp-edged weapon, was immediately rushed to Lady Hardinge Hospital.
He reported that Dinesh had attacked him and stolen Rs 20,000, allegedly motivated by an old grudge over a minor dispute.
