Imphal, Dec. 29 -- Manipur Police, following an investigation into the missing and subsequent murder of a 27-year-old woman from Imphal West district, have arrested four persons in connection with the case, officials said on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Khaidem (O) Chaoba Devi of Wangoi Mamang Khaidem, was reported missing earlier. Subsequent investigation revealed that she had been murdered, leading to the arrest of four accused, including her husband and mother-in-law.
The arrested persons are Khaidem Nareshor Singh husband of the deceased; Khaidem (O) Indira , her mother-in-law; Moirangthem Dhanajit Singh of Langathel Laikhom Bazar, presently residing at Nongpok Keithelmanbi Awang Leikai; and Kananbala Devi alias Dhaneshwori of ...
