Puducherry, March 26 -- The Puducherry POCSO Fast Track Court Judge M D Sumathi on Thursday convicted and sentenced a 66-year-old man to undergo five years of Rigorous Imprisonment for sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl in 2023.
According to the prosecution, the accused, Anthony Raj alias Anand Raj of Muthirapalayam in Puducherry, sexually assaulted othe girl in the last week of August 2023.
The Mettuapalayam police arrested him and the case was heard in the POCSO court.
