Bengaluru, May 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bengaluru on May 10 and address a public gathering at the HAL airport for about 30 minutes, Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly R Ashoka said on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters here, Ashoka said a felicitation programme is being organised on behalf of the people of Bengaluru to honour the Prime Minister during his visit. He said the event is being planned in a grand and orderly manner, with open participation from citizens.

According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will land at HAL Airport Bengaluru at 9 am, where he will be received by party leaders and officials. He is expected to address the gathering shortly after arrival.
