New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab on Sunday to rename Adampur Airport in honour of Sant Guru Ravidas Ji and inaugurate a new terminal building at Halwara Airport in Ludhiana, the government announced on Saturday.
According to an official release, the Prime Minister will reach Adampur Airport at around 3.45 pm, where he will unveil its new name, 'Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Airport, Adampur'marking the 649th birth anniversary of the revered saint and social reformer. During the visit, he will also inaugurate the terminal building at Halwara Airport, strengthening civil aviation infrastructure in the state.
