Guwahati, Jan. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Assam from Saturday during which he will also participate in the Bagurumba Dwhoo 2026 programme, the largest ensemble of Bagurumba dance to be presented by 10,000 artistes and musicians.

The Prime Minister is likely to arrive on Saturday evening and he will head to the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah sports complex to participate in the Bagurumba ensemble.

He will halt at the Kainadhara State Guests House at Khanapara for the night and will leave for Kaliabar on Sunday.

At Kaliabar, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Rs. 6,000 crore elevated corridor and will address a public meeting before returning to Delhi the same evening.
