PM Modi speaks with Ukrainian President, conveys India's position of early, peaceful solution to conflict

New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today and conveyed India's consistent position on the need for an early and peaceful solution of the conflict.

The Prime Minister wrote on X ''Glad to speak with President Zelenskyy and hear his perspectives on recent developments. I conveyed India's consistent position on the need for an early and peaceful resolution of the conflict.''

The Prime Minister said India remains committed to making every possible contribution for peaceful resolution of the conflict and to further strengthening bilateral ties with Ukraine.
