Mumbai, Feb. 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held delegation-level talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai, reviewing the progress of the India-France Strategic Partnership and charting a roadmap for deeper cooperation in defence, technology, trade and emerging sectors.
President Macron, who is in India for a three-day official visit from February 17 to 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi, was received by Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. This marks Macron's fourth visit to India since taking office in 2017 and his first to Mumbai.
