In a post on handle X, the Prime Minister emphasized that these high-speed, non-AC sleeper services represent a major leap in passenger comfort while serving as powerful engines for economic growth.
The Prime Minister's remarks came as a response to union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who announced that nine new routes are set to be flagged off shortly. These services will primarily connect the eastern and sub-Himalayan regions of West Bengal and Assam to major urban centers across North, South, and West India.
