New Delhi, March 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow over the fire incident in Palam, Delhi, that has claimed lives and left several others injured, while announcing financial assistance for the victims.
In a message posted on X, Modi said, "The fire incident in Palam, Delhi, is saddening. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest." His statement came as authorities continued rescue and relief operations at the site of the tragedy.
