New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a gathering during the inauguration of India Energy Week via video conferencing, highlighting the significance of the newly signed Free Trade Agreement between India and the European Union.
Calling it the "mother of all deals," the Prime Minister said the agreement would open major opportunities for people in both India and Europe.
He noted that the partnership brings together two of the world's largest economies, representing around 25 per cent of global GDP and nearly one-third of global trade.
"This agreement reflects our shared commitment to democracy and the rule of law," PM Modi said.
