New Delhi, Jan. 27 -- A petition has been filed before the Supreme Court challenging Regulation 3(c) of the recently notified University Grants Commission (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institutions) Regulations, 2026, contending that the definition of "caste-based discrimination" under the provision is exclusionary and non-inclusive.
