Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 15 -- Senior Congress leader and former union Minister, Mani Shankar Aiyar, today asserted that Pinarayi Vijayan will continue as Kerala's Chief Minister, while hailing the state as the only one in India that has substantially advanced the inclusive development vision envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi.

Delivering the inaugural address at the international seminar 'Vision 2031: Development and Democracy', Aiyar said he had no doubt that Pinarayi Vijayan would return to office.

He used the occasion to call for crucial legislative amendments to firmly entrench Kerala's leadership in Panchayati Raj governance, stating that the state's first-place standing in implementation must also be secured in law.
