Thiruvananthapuram, April 7 -- Congress Campaign Committee Chairman Ramesh Chennithala on Tuesday intensified his attack on the ruling LDF, alleging that the devastating 2018 Kerala floods were a "man-made disaster" and squarely blaming the Pinarayi Vijayan government for the tragedy.
Chennithala said he was the first to raise the allegation and maintained that subsequent findings, including the report submitted by the amicus curiae appointed by the High Court, support his claim.
He asserted that he had consistently raised the issue in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, highlighting what he described as serious lapses on the part of the government.
