Washington, Feb. 1 -- Pete Davidson returned to 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend in a biting political sketch, portraying former ICE acting director Tom Homan as he tries, without much success, to teach restraint to federal agents following controversial incidents in Minneapolis, Deadline reports.
While Davidson bears little physical resemblance to Homan, the skit aimed to satirize the fact that Homan, once the face of the Trump administration's family separation policy, has now been tasked with bringing moderation to federal immigration enforcement. Homan has also faced scrutiny for reportedly accepting USD 50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents while working as a private consultant-a claim he denies.
