Imphal, April 14 -- The people of Manipur celebrated Cheiraoba with traditional fervour and renewed optimism, as leaders across the State extended warm greetings, highlighting unity, cultural pride, and hope for a peaceful future.

The festival marks the end of a year and heralds the arrival of a New Year.

On the joyous occasion, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla conveyed his best wishes to the people of Manipur.
