Hamirpur (HP), Feb. 5 -- The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has provided another opportunity to people receiving social security pensions to complete their e-KYC.
The department has now extended the last date for e-KYC to February 15.
District Welfare Officer Chaman Lal Sharma said that the verification (e-KYC) of social security pension beneficiaries was started in July last year with the help of Anganwadi workers, and the last date was set as January 31.
Pensions of beneficiaries who did not complete their e-KYC during this period have been temporarily stopped, and they have been given until February 15 to complete the process.
