Los Angeles, Feb. 3 -- Nancy Meyers is poised to make her return to the director's chair, with her next feature officially moving forward at Warner Bros with Penelope Cruz and Owen Wilson, who were attached to an earlier version of the film, are set to remain on board.
This will be Meyers' first time directing in 11 years, following the Anne Hathaway- Robert De Niro comedy 'The Intern' (2015), which she also wrote. Apart from the aforementioned cast Oscar winner Kieran Culkin, Jude Law and Emma Mackey are in advanced negotiations to join the cast. Warner Bros has scheduled the film for a Christmas Day 2027 release, strategically positioning it in the high-profile holiday market, reports Deadline.
