Puducherry, March 23 -- A high stakes battle is in the offing in the high profile Thattanchavady Assembly constituency, from where Pududcherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President and former CM V Vaithilingam is contesting against AINRC Founder-President and Chief Minister N Rangasamy who is seeking re-leection in the April 9 electionss in the union Territory.
Mr.Vaithilingam filed his nomination papers on Monday from Thattanchavady on the last date for filing of papers today.
