Bengaluru, Feb. 6 -- The Dutch Davis Cup team is not just gearing up for a tough contest against India this weekend, but is fully immersing itself in Bengaluru's culture while fine-tuning its preparations. Arriving earlier than usual to acclimatise to the city's altitude, the squad has also consulted the Dutch women's team for local insights and enjoyed Indian cuisine and experiences.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Captain Paul Haarhuis said the team had benefitted from "fantastic facilities" and strong support from the Indian Association. "Preparations over the past four days have gone very well," he added, praising Bengaluru for its warm hospitality.
