Kangra, Nov. 22 -- Patialakad village in Nagrota Bagwan area in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district was overcome with shock and gloom on news that their brave son, Wing Commander Namansh Syal, 34, of the Indian Air Force, was killed in a Tejas fighter aircraft crash at the 19th Dubai Air Show on Friday afternoon.
Wing Commander Syal was posted at the Hyderabad airbase. He was known for his discipline and exceptional service record. He is survived by his wife Afsaan, also an Indian Air Force officer, and their five-year-old daughter.
