Pune, April 6 -- In a sharp reaction to the Congress party's decision to field a candidate in the Baramati Assembly by-election, after his mother and Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar filed nomination, Rajya Sabha MP Parth Pawar issued a direct warning, stating that the party may face consequences in Maharashtra in the future.
Speaking to the media, Pawar said the Congress leadership should decide its course of action on its own, but cautioned that the repercussions of its decisions would eventually become evident. "They are all senior leaders and are aware of the situation. If they have made a decision, let them proceed. But they will realize later what impact it will have in Maharashtra," he remarked.
