Pune, Feb. 2 -- Parth Pawar, son of late former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, and his associate Digvijay Patil have received major relief in the alleged Mundhwa land scam case, after the Khadak Crime Branch filed a 1,886-page chargesheet in court naming only Sheetal Tejwani as an accused, an official said on Monday.
According to a police officer associated with the investigation, the chargesheet was submitted in court on January 28. The probe has so far identified Tejwani as the main accused, while no evidence has emerged during the investigation to establish the involvement of Parth Pawar or his associate.
