Bengaluru, April 6 -- Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Monday denied allegations of misuse of Indian Premier League tickets by legislators, asserting that such tickets can be used by MLAs or their family members and there is no violation involved.
Speaking to reporters, Parameshwara said IPL tickets are booked online and are utilised by those who purchase them, adding that there is no mechanism for the government to regulate who ultimately uses the tickets.
Clarifying further, he said MLAs themselves may attend matches or allow their family members to use the tickets.
